How to create a custom report?

Network Configuration Manager provides a functionality to add a Customize some of the existing reports which can be exported or used in the same way as other default reports. A custom report gives you an option to generate reports for specific devices and with specific columns. You can also choose specific policies and types of rules in case of Compliance Check custom reports. As of now these custom reports can be generated only for two types of reports: Hardware Inventory Details and Compliance Check.

To add a new custom report in Network Configuration Manager, please follow the steps given below:

• Go to Reports > Custom Report.
• Click on 'Add' on top right corner.
• Provide a name to the new Custom Report.
• Provide a description to this new report (Optional).
• Choose a report type, that you want to customize.
• Select the Device Template (in case of Hardware Inventory report) or Compliance policies/Rule Groups/Rules (in case of Compliance Check report) for which you want to create that report.
• Select Device(s) or Device Group(s), for which the report must be generated.
• Click on save.
