I already have OpManager. Why do I need the APM plug-in?

What installation platforms are supported?

APM plug-in supports Windows and Linux installation.

Does the APM Plug-in need a separate database?

Applications Manager uses a different Database. Incase of PGSQL backend ,it uses OpManager PGSQL database and creates AMDB. Incase of MSSQL, it creates AMDB in the SQL instance. Overall, you have two Databases - one for Applications Manager and one for OpManager.

I'm already an OpManager customer, how can I evaluate APM plug-in? Or I'm evaluating OpManager now, how can I get APM plug-in?

  1. Go to APM plug-in download page, and check if your installation meets the prerequisite to install the plug-in.
  2. Download OpManager's APM plug-in from (download tab link).
  3. Shutdown OpManager Service.
  4. Right click the EXE file of APM plugin and select 'Run as administrator' and walk through the installation.
  5. Start the OpManager service which will automatically start AppManager plugin.
